Pass the turkey, keep the remote.
Each week during the year, we’ll talk about three games on the slate—one you have to see, one you have to keep an eye on and one you should avoid at all costs. Feast Week is for the casuals and die-hards alike, and we want you both to feel comfortable here.
This weekend begins at 7 p.m. ET on Wednesday. There is simply too much good basketball before we hit the weekend proper this time around, including some legitimately can’t-miss matchups. Apologies to the final day of Maui, which includes a legitimately compelling matchup between Tennessee and Kansas, and a championship game between Purdue and Marquette. If your boss loves you, he or she will cut you loose to watch these games.
Must Watch (Times ET)
The Battle 4 Atlantis, Wednesday-Friday, ESPN Family of Networks
By the parameters of the weekend, we don’t get to Atlantis until the Day 1 finale between HAWG and Tree. That’s a shame, but this bracket is going to yield some absolutely fantastic matchups, win or lose. A UNC that really needs some quality wins* to quiet the chatter is guaranteed a chance against either Villanova or Texas Tech, both of which could say the same thing.
*-I don’t think Radford, Lehigh or UC Riverside counts, and I don’t really think Northern Iowa does either if it comes to that.
