Following Blood Week, it’s nice to get back to some nope Memphis is just over here blowing 20-point leads at home to South Florida.
Each week during the year, we’ll talk about three games on the weekend slate—one you have to see, one you have to keep an eye on and one you should avoid at all costs. It’s like a sommelier, but for the SoCon (and just a word to the wise, that Mercer-Samford you’re eying is just hell on the palate, sir).
As always, the weekend begins at 7 p.m. ET on Friday. Apologies to a Georgetown-Xavier matchup that would likely have everyone involved pining for better days.
Must Watch (Times ET)
Alabama at No. 6 Tennessee (2 p.m., Saturday, ESPN2)
Humans, fallible creatures we tend to be, see an unranked Crimson Tide team with a handful of losses, explicable though all are (except maybe to Ohio State), heading to Thompson-Boling Arena looking to score an upset and burnish a resume that might finally allow it back into the top-25 following a 6-5 start to the season.
