The Six Signs of Summer Workouts
It might be bullshit. Okay, it is bullshit. But, in this ecosystem, it's important bullshit.
The following are important milestones to hit during the summer season as basketball begins to slowly appear on the horizon. Joe Lunardi did a Bracketology update this week; we are not alone in this world.
The Weight Room
Embrace the grind. Rise and grind. Grind it out, every day. Get one percent better today. If your school doesn’t post at least one weight room photo collage or video each week, you’re going 9-24 next year and your point guard will get hip-checked into the scorers’ table by the opposing team’s water-fetcher.
Every weight room looks like a dungeon, by the way. I’m not sure if this is by design or just how it happened. And if I may: no matter how much money your school pours into it, it’s hard to get quality photo and video in the weight room with floor-to-ceiling mirrors covering every wall.
