We’re just about past the weird time when some leagues are into the conference schedule and some are still putting the finishing touches on non-league play. Teams have shown you who they are; now it’s time to see if they can change the narrative against league foes.
It’s time for some Month Two awards: there are the big awards, the ones that noted scribes of ink and screen will vote on. There are also lesser honors of my own invention and stupid honors that only me and four other people think matter or are even interesting to ponder. This is based partly on what they’ve done so far, speculation on what they can do in the future and as always, vibes.

Wooden Award - Zach Edey, Purdue
I’m not going to waste anymore time here; barring an absolutely shocking collapse from Purdue or a stunning run of play from Dickinson, this is going to be Edey’s award again. I’m kind of to the point of looking ahead to next year on this award; I don’t think I’ve seriously considered anyone else since Jalen Wilson after the first month of last season.
